Ready-to Grow - how it works

Updated: Jul 19, 2022

Ready-to Grow trains in both hard and soft skills.

Trains on business- and people skills

Ready-to-Grow teaches business and communication skills. Simply because both aspects are crucial at the beginning of every career. The participant is introduced to the most important tools of both the hard and soft sides of professional life during this one-year programme. So that he or she is ready to direct his or her own growth. We like to use a combination of hard and soft skills in all of our programmes. Find out why here.

An appealing storyline

Aside from providing interesting content, much emphasis is placed on how the participant is guided through the programme. Ready-to-Grow was developed by people who wished to go through the programme themselves, earlier in their careers. Dirk, the director of a Chocolate Factory, takes the participants on a journey through his challenges, considerations, and wisdom through vlogs. He comes across problems for which relevant theory and models are later offered. The participant puts this new knowledge into practise and reflects on his or her experiences. We ensure a diverse programme by combining a learning process with challenging learning forms. Learn more about challenging learning methods here. And check out Dirk's vlog below!

Senior Management participation

Dirk explains in his own words why we ask Senior Management to collaborate in Ready-to-Grow in the video above. We see not only a lot of experience and knowledge in every organisation, but also a willingness to share it! But it doesn't happen by itself... That is why we assist in the recruitment and mentoring of mentors. And we assist participants in properly preparing for and benefiting from the conversations. Many beautiful and valuable connections have already emerged!

It's all about practice

Ready-to-Grow is a programme that consists of both face-to-face and online learning methods. Various experts introduce participants to models, theories, and their own experiences. However, it has been demonstrated that true learning occurs only when applied in practise. That is why one's own daily work is always at the forefront. We believe that only by creating output do you truly grow wiser. Only then are you 'compelled' to investigate something. Only then will an experience emerge, and reflection will produce results.

This is how talent is developed! Read more about the background of talent development in our programs here.
